Introduction & history in breaf
 
Giggling kennel is a small, cosy home kennel situated in western Finland, in the city of Seinäjoki. I got the prefix "Giggling" in year 2006 - my first Cavalier, Blenheim bitch Blenmarin Pretty Baby, I got in year 2002. Before that I’ve owned and been keen on English Springers since my early childhood.

All our dogs are very much loved family members that live in our house together with us enjoying plenty of attention and care every day. My passion have been and are dog shows in which we take part regularly. All our dogs are enjoying long walks daily. They love running in forest and fields and swimming at summertime.

My aim is to breed healthy Cavaliers of good type with open, friendly and fearless Cavalier temperament. All dogs I use for breeding have clear certificates of heart, eyes and patellae and most of them are also MRI-scanned for syringomyelia. Hearts are checked annually and eyes once in every three years.

Luna is my first cavalier, she came from kennel Blenmarin in year 2002. Luna has the sweetest cavalier temperament; she is very friendly and brave and always ready to hop on your lap. Luna is also very nice company for different activities and loves especially agility and is also keen on obedience training. As Luna loves attention she surely likes to be also shown and enjoys every second in showring. Luna is a mother of one Blenmarin litter and three Giggling litters. Luna's offspring has done particularly well in shows - her son Blenmarin Unique Sir finished his Fi Ch title in year 2009 and gained also title "Finnish Winner 2009" to his credit. Luna is now-a-days retired even though she will hopefully return to showrings as a veteran.

Fina is a very energetic tricolour girl that arrived from kennel Blenmarin in year 2006. Fina is our little clown who makes us laugh many times a day with her funny tricks and unique sound repertory. Fina is a an active sporting dog that is training agility and hopefully starts competing in year 2010. Fina also likes obedience training and enjoys dog shows very much. Fina loves to swim, run and play with toys and with her dear friend "Mette". Fina is a mother of one Giggling litter & one Blenmarin litter so far. Fina’s sire is a handsome Australian male Elvenhome Finlandia "Laurie" that visited Finland 2004-2006. “Laurie” and her dam are tested for SM and they both have A.

Mette is a very much hoped whole-coloured member to our team. Mette came from Estonia in year 2008 and is bred by Dina & Gea Lepik, Tarto. Mette has very lively and happy personality - she is always ready for action. We have done some agility with Mette and hopefully will have an opprtunity to continue this hobby in future as Mette likes it very much. Mette loves attention and needs her daily hugs & kisses. Mette is a dearest friend to our Fina and they always have some "girls' things" going on :-). Mette is a mother for one Blenmarin litter.

Hipsu is a pampered pet to my mother and father and she lives with them at the countryside with plenty of space to play and run. Hipsu will take part in shows in the future and hopefully brings something new to my breeding aswell. Hipsu's sire is a lovely toy-sized blenheim Multi Ch Rosscrea Diplomatic (MRI-free) whose pedigree is full of famous english stud dogs. Combined with high-quality and healthy Babbler's line Hipsu is totally something new to us and will establish a new breeding line if everything goes as planned.

Tricolour male Pippuri moved to Finland on August 2010 from kennel Magic Charm, Norway. Getting this lovely little boy after long waiting was a total dream come true to me and my dear friend Marianne Trogen (Blenmarin cavaliers) and we are very thankful to Unni for this lovely & brave little fellow! Pippuri's lovely parents are not only heart, eye & patella examined & clear but also MRI-scannanned for syringomyelia with result A.

Blenheim bitch Sandy is out of Fina's first litter - her sire is a handsome Norwegian import Magic Charm's Paddington. Her temperament is as lively as her dame's and that is why she first gaught my eye. In her first show (All Breeds Puppy Show) she was BOS with honour prize. In her first official show (in junior class) she won her class with Excellent. Later in Intermediate Class she got the placement BB2 with res-CC. Sandy will hopefully give birth to Giggling litter in the future. Sandy's dam is MRI-scanned for syringomyelia and she has A.

Wild "tom-girl" Helmi has very nice and brave temperament that made an impact on me already when she was just a little puppy. Helmi has started her show career and was BOB-puppy on her 2nd show in puppy classes. Helmi is also doing agility with her co-owner Hanna.
